Rooted in the heart of Ghana's educational landscape, GEOSOC has been a hub of geographic inquiry and student growth since 2010.
Who We Are
The Geographical Society of the University of Cape Coast (GEOSOC UCC) is the official student body representing all geography and related-discipline students within the university. Founded in 2010, we have grown into one of the most active and respected academic societies on campus.
Our activities span academic seminars, field expeditions, GIS workshops, environmental advocacy, and cultural celebrations — all designed to complement classroom learning and prepare students for real-world careers.
We work closely with the Department of Geography & Tourism and partner with national and international organisations to expose our members to the broadest possible range of geographical perspectives.
